Join Us Nov 14 as We Light Up the Lake

The community is invited to come to City Hall this year, as we scale back our annual Light Up the Night celebration and refocus it this year on celebrating Pleasant Hill's 60th Anniversary.

Due to restrictions and concerns about COVID-19, the decision was made to scale back the annual event and make it part of our anniversary celebration.

From 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. participants will be able to come to City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane, and enjoy entertainment by the Studio A dancers, Head Librarian Patrick Remer, and others.  At 5:30 p.m. as the sun has set, Mayor Sue Noack will read a proclamation honoring the 60th Anniversary, and then she will be the first to launch a floating lantern onto the City Hall Lake.

Participants will then be able to launch their own, sending their hopes, dreams and wishes for the next decade in Pleasant Hill out onto the waters of the lake.

We will post the schedule here for the event, once it is finalized.
