The City of Pleasant Hill's Education Commission acts as a liaison between the City and local schools in the Mt Diablo Unified School District. In order to help the schools, the Commission has put together a list of needed items and resources that the community can donate. As time goes on, this list will be populated with links to Amazon wishlists to facilitate getting the items to the schools. The current list of needed items submitted to the Education Commission can be found in this online google form.
Most requested items
Based on the feedback we have received so far, the items schools are requesting most are disinfectant wipes and construction paper (different colors).
Many of the schools surveyed also expressed a strong need for additional volunteer help. If you are interested in volunteering at one of the schools in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, contact the school to see what volunteer needs they have. Information on how to register to be a school volunteer can be found on the MDUSD website.
