Redevelopment Successor Agency

Overview

The Pleasant Hill Redevelopment Agency was abolished on February 1, 2012, by an act of the state legislature. After 39 years, and many accomplishments, the agency has been dissolved and replaced by a successor agency. In the case of Pleasant Hill, the City Council now functions as the successor agency. The responsibility of the successor agency is to wind down the affairs of the former Redevelopment Agency and pay off any debt obligations incurred by the Redevelopment Agency.
