Requirements and Regulations
Pleasant Hill Municipal Code Sections 6.15.010 through 6.15.090 mandate that all door-to-door solicitors complete a registration process prior to engaging in this type of business marketing.
All applications and permits are to be brought to the the City of Pleasant Hill, Business License Department located at 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. No mail in applications. Then an appointment will be made with the Police Department for fingerprint scan. The following guide will assist in the application process:

Completion of the Solicitor/Peddlers Permit Application and affidavit
Department of Justice Fingerprint scan, (Live Scan) Police Department
City of Pleasant Hill business license (obtained after application approval)
All required fees paid at 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill (925) 671-5234

All solicitors must have a solicitors permit and City of Pleasant Hill business license
Persons under 16 years of age and working on behalf of a non-profit organization are exempt
Persons under 16 years of age engaged in commercial peddling are required to be supervised by a sponsor and also obtain a solicitors permit
All applicants are required to get a Department of Justice fingerprint scan
There is absolutely no solicitation allowed at residences with a posted "No Solicitation" sign
