Mayor Michael Harris gave the 'State of the City' address at the Mayor's Breakfast on Thursday, January 26 at the Contra Costa Country Club. The event was hosted by the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce which also introduced its new Board of Directors for 2017 before a large crowd of residents, business owners, educators and library supporters. During his presentation, Mayor Harris thanked Councilmember Sue Noack for her successful tenure as Mayor in 2016, highlighted accomplishments last year and talked about making plans and moving forward to build a new Pleasant Hill Library as the theme for his year as Mayor.
