The City of Pleasant Hill Architectural Review Commission and Planning Commission will both conduct public hearings to make recommendations to the City Council concerning approval of PLN 16-0027 for a proposed CarMax Auto Superstore and associated site improvements, (applicant: CarMax Auto Superstores), which includes a Planned Unit Development (Rezoning) Concept Plan, Development Plan Permit, Conditional Use Permit, Architectural Review Permit, Sign Permit, adjustments to development standards, and certification of an Environmental Impact Report. The site, located at 65 and 77 Chilpancingo Parkway (Assessor Parcel Numbers 153-300-001, 153-300-002, and 153-300-003) is proposed to be rezoned from the existing RB (Retail Business) to a PUD (Planned Unit Development District). The project includes construction of approximately 45,289 square feet of structures/facilities, on approximately 9.95 acres, constructed in two, back to back, phases. Pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15080, a Draft Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the project by the lead agency (City of Pleasant Hill), and circulated for public review between April 10, 2017 and June 5, 2017, and can be viewed through the links below:

The proposed Final Environmental Impact Report and other related project information will be available for review at the Planning Division counter, City of Pleasant Hill, City Hall (100 Gregory Lane) and may also be viewed on the City’s website at www.pleasanthillca.org prior to the public hearings.
THE PUBLIC HEARING will be conducted by the Architectural Review Commission starting at 5:00 P.M. on a SPECIAL MEETING DATE of Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in the City Council Chambers, 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill.
THE PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the Planning Commission starting at 6:30 P.M. on a SPECIAL MEETING DATE of Thursday, June 29, 2017 in the Council Chambers, 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill. Interested persons will be heard at these times.
