Santa arrives in downtown Pleasant Hill on November 28 as part of the 11th Annual Light up the Night celebration. The free, family-friendly event takes place between 5 and 8 p.m. on Crescent Drive.

Activities include a Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair on Crescent Drive; entertainment by local choral groups and the Studio A dancers; visits with Santa; and horse-drawn carriage rides. A detailed entertainment guide is available at pleasanthillca.org/lutn. Free hot chocolate, coffee and cookies will be served.

A highlight of the event – the Holiday Tree lighting - will take place on the plaza in front of Jack’s Restaurant at 6:45 p.m.
