Former mayor Paul Cooper passed away on Wednesday, May 8 at his Pleasant Hill home. Services will be at 1 p..m. Tuesday, May 14 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery,1965 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, followed by a 2:30 p.m. reception at Zio Fraedo's, 611 Gregory Lane.

Mr. Cooper served on the Pleasant Hill Council for 21 years, from 1978 to 1999, and served five separate terms as Mayor.
