Pleasant Hill is preparing to respond to the impacts of a confirmed PG&E power shutoff that will affect many parts of the city as well as nearby communities. The shutoff may begin as early as 12 a.m. Wednesday through Thursday, Oct. 10. Complete power restoration may take 1 to 5 days.

• PG&E says that power outage will not affect gas service. There is no need to shut off the gas.
• BART spokesperson says trains will be operating during the power shutoff in our County.
