NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider a proposal for the Oak Park Properties Residential project. The request is to approve PLN 19-0383 for the proposed Oak Park Properties Residential Project (applicant: Contra Costa County), which includes an Architectural Review Permit and Tree Removal Permit that was reviewed and recommended by the Architectural Review Commission to the City Council and a Development Plan, and a Vesting Tentative Map that was reviewed and recommended by the Planning Commission to the City Council. The Residential Project would be within the Oak Park Properties Specific Plan area and located at 1750 Oak Park Boulevard (Assessor Parcel Number 149-271-014) and proposes to establish a 34 lot subdivision including seven attached Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). The Residential Project also includes an approximately 0.34 acre pocket park area along the northern portion of the project site.
Pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15080, a Draft Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the proposed entitlements by the lead agency (City of Pleasant Hill), and circulated for public review between August 30, 2019 and October 15, 2019. THE PUBLIC HEARING by the City Council was scheduled to be held on Monday, March 23, 2020 in the Council Chambers, 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill. However, due to the recent public health concerns, this item will be continued to a subsequent City Council meeting date.
