The City has invited four pre-qualified general contractors to submit a proposal to provide general construction contracting for the Pleasant Hill Library. The four general contractors who were successful in the pre-qualification process are: Alten Construction, Inc., BHM Construction, Inc., C Overaa & Company, and Lathrop Construction Assoc., Inc. The bid date for proposal packages from the pre-qualified contractors has been extended to 2 p.m. May 14 at Pleasant Hill City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane.
The preliminary project schedule anticipates construction to begin in mid-June 2020 and be completed by September 2121. The current estimated total construction cost is approximately $27 million.
