[ARCHIVED] Light Up the Lake on Nov 14

Closeup of water with a glowing square lantern floating on the lake at City Hall.

The Pleasant Hill community is invited to come to City Hall on November 14, 2021, as we celebrate the city’s Diamond (60th) Anniversary by Lighting Up the Lake!

You won’t want to miss the reflection of hundreds of luminaries on the waters of the lake as we enjoy this event focused on the city’s anniversary.

From 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on November 14, 2021, the community can come to City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane and enjoy performances by the Studio A Dancers, Library Manager Patrick Remer, and the College Park High School Concert Choir and enjoy a display of the winning entries from the Diamond Anniversary Photo Contest.

At 5:30 p.m., Mayor Sue Noack will present a proclamation of the city’s anniversary, before launching a waterproof, environmentally safe, luminary out onto the lake. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to launch a luminary onto the lake as we Light Up the Lake. There will be 600 luminaries, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

After the event, participants are encouraged to walk to Crescent Drive where they can shop, sip or dine in downtown Pleasant Hill.
