The City of Pleasant Hill Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on making a recommendation to the City Council on a Preferred Land Use Alternative for the in-progress General Plan Update that also takes into consideration Housing Opportunity sites. The Preferred Land Use Alternative was reviewed and recommended for potential consideration in a CEQA document by the General Plan Advisory Committee at its meeting on January 26, 2022. The Preferred Land Use Alternative includes potential land use designation changes at various locations throughout the City of Pleasant Hill and also includes various potential new land use designations, including new Mixed-Use Designations and updated densities in various Multi-Family Residential Designations. Once direction is provided by the City Council as to the scope of the Preferred Land Use Alternative and resulting recommended Land Use Changes, the City will conduct CEQA analysis of that scope.
The Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Commission starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. More information on how to participate, including providing live comments during the meeting, will be provided on the posted Planning Commission Agenda.
