[ARCHIVED] General Plan Update - Preferred Land Use Alternative

The City of Pleasant Hill, City Council, will hold a public hearing to consider a recommendation of the General Plan Advisory Committee and the Planning Commission on a Preferred Land Use Alternative for the in-progress General Plan Update that also takes into consideration Housing Opportunity sites.   The Preferred Land Use Alternative was reviewed and recommended for potential consideration in a CEQA document by the General Plan Advisory Committee at its meeting on January 26, 2022 and by the Planning Commission at its meeting on March 22, 2022.  The Preferred Land Use Alternative includes potential land use designation changes at various locations throughout the City of Pleasant Hill and also includes various potential new land use designations, including new Mixed-Use Designations and updated densities in various Multi-Family Residential Designations.  Once direction is provided by the City Council as to the scope of the Preferred Land Use Alternative and resulting recommended Land Use Changes, the City will conduct CEQA analysis of that scope.  

Please note that due to City Council Resolution No. 63-21, options for observing the City Council meeting and for submitting communication regarding the meetings have changed. The City Council will participate remotely via teleconferencing.

The Public Hearing will be held by the City Council starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022.  More information on how to participate, including providing live comments during the meeting, will be provided on the posted City Council Agenda.
