The City of Pleasant Hill, City Council, will hold a public hearing to consider a recommendation of the General Plan Advisory Committee and the Planning Commission on a Preferred Land Use Alternative for the in-progress General Plan Update that also takes into consideration Housing Opportunity sites.   The Preferred Land Use Alternative was reviewed and recommended for potential consideration in a CEQA document by the General Plan Advisory Committee and by the Planning Commission at.  The Preferred Land Use Alternative includes potential land use designation changes at various locations throughout the City of Pleasant Hill and also includes various potential new land use designations, including new Mixed-Use Designations and updated densities in various Multi-Family Residential Designations.  Once direction is provided by the City Council as to the scope of the Preferred Land Use Alternative and resulting recommended Land Use Changes, the City will conduct CEQA analysis of that scope.  

The original public hearing was originally scheduled to be held on April 18, 2022, however, the item will be continued without discussion to the May 16, 2022 City Council Meeting Date.  Thus, the Public Hearing will be held by the City Council starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022.  More information on how to participate, including providing live comments during the meeting, will be provided on the posted City Council Agenda.
