[ARCHIVED] Light Up the Night on Nov 16

The community is invited to come downtown on November 16, 2022, for the return of the much-loved annual event, Light Up the Night.' 

The event takes place on Crescent Drive in the City's downtown. From 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. come down and enjoy music, craft activities, hot chocolate, and more. Ride the Holiday Express Train on Crescent Drive, listen to Victorian Carolers, listen to storytelling from the Firelight Shadow Theatre Company, and gather together at 6:30 p.m. for the lighting of the Holiday Tree. 

The main stage will be set up on Crescent Drive near Contra Costa Boulevard. 

The schedule for the stage is: 

5:00 - 5:30 p.m.   - Studio A Dancers 
5:30 - 6:10 p.m.   - Firelight Shadow Theatre 
Tree Lighting will occur from 6:15 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the plaza near Jack's 
6:30 - 8:00 p.m.   - West African Highlife Band 

Other activities occurring during the evening are: 

Photos with Santa 
Fairy Face Painting 
Holiday Express Train 
Hot Chocolate and Cookies 
Craft Activities for kids 
Booth activities with the Lions Club, Rotary Club of Pleasant Hill, Chamber of Commerce, Diversity Commission, Stay Pleasant Hill, Pleasant Hill Rec and Park, and the Civic Action Commission.
