Draft Maps for District-Based Election System Available for view on April 24, 2023
The City of Pleasant Hill's demographer is expected to release draft maps of potential electoral district boundaries on April 24, 2023. The Pleasant Hill Community is invited to provide input on the draft maps at three upcoming meetings, May 1, May 6, and May 22, 2023.
The City Council will then conduct a final public meeting and will take steps to adopt an Ordinance transitioning the City from an at-large to a by-district method of electing Members of the City Council, approving the establishment of electoral division map boundaries, and approving the sequence of future Council elections.
All public hearings will be conducted in the City Council Chamber, located at 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, California, 94523. Agendas will be posted in advance of the meetings in compliance with the Ralph M. Brown Act and can be viewed at www.pleasanthillca.org/agendas.
