Some tips for sellers:

*  Register your garage sale using the online form

*  Advertise your sale using street signs (not in the public right of way)

*  Advertise online on social media or in local news sources

*  Donate leftover items to local thrift stores

*  Don't forget to take down your signs after!

Tips for Buyers:

*  Use the website www.pleasanthillgaragesale.com to find households taking part in the garage sale

*  Start early, but not before the listed start times. The early bird gets the worm

*  Bring a reusable bag to carry your prizes
